In New Delhi, India there is an office called BIS, Bureau of Indian Standards. This facility is responsible for storing perfect samples of weights, measurements, and quality of metals. The BIS derive their standards from the International Bureau of Weights and Measures, Paris. The BIS have what are called “prototypes” of kilograms weights; measuring rods for feet, yards, and meters. The scales and measures that we use are authorized by the international and Indian standards. These standards never change.
We Christians also have a measuring rod that never changes, that is the Word of God. The Word of God is the manual for a good and successful Christian life.
